FWIW I went from a 125 to a vfr750 (via the UK training and test on a 650) and don't find it too heavy at all. And the main reason I bought it...
concluded the heatsoak is mostly thru the engine mounts. Going to descale and flush the coolant system.... might lower it a bit. cheers
Defo check the pump... Maybe the new rad looks OK on the outside but is scaled up in side. Try replacing the coolant with 50/50 white vinegar/dist...
I found the holes in the plastic were wearing/stretching so I epoxy'd little steel washers behind them. Makes the clips "bite" alot better IMHO.
