I personally don't care that much for ABS, so that's not an issue at all. I would love a VFR1200 but that's just out of my price category at this...
well, I got the chance to take another bike out for a test ride and I settled on it as my next bike, It was just too comfortable to not like, lol....

My problem was that the local dealers don't carry but the cheap helmets and after traveling to the next dealer that had other helmets in stock...
I've bought from www.revzilla.com and had a great experience from them. Had to do a couple helmet exchanges and it went really well.

The FZ1 is right along with the ninja 1000, it also has available side fairings that make it look and perform the part it should as an upright...
I'm actually now mainly looking at the yamaha FZ1 and the Kawasaki ninja 1000, both are pretty comfortable bikes I just need to go take a ride on...
I'm actually down in punta gorda. so not far off at all..... though I go between PG and out in almost englewood a lot.
