I've owned my '99 for a month now, love every minute of it. I owned a couple VF1000F's in the early 90's, both died horrible cam-eating deaths.

US Gallons I think, I use a site that you input litres used, km driven and cost per litre.. it spits out L/100km and MPG. I've used about 4 tanks...
It may help a bit, I'm sure.. also have a fresh oil change with Mobil 1 filter and oil, clean and lubed the chain, and most importantly installed...
hmmm, guess he forgot to check the air filter [ATTACH] The new one is a HiFlo unit, maybe I'll get better than 45mpg now.
