Thanks for the input Since the VFR 800D comes with factory heated grips I am screwed; not unless I wanted to lose that function
Been thinking about removing and replacing the stock grips but before I do I would like to hear from those that have and what they replaced them...
I use golf grip tape and have not had any issues. Makes for easy removal and clean-up and re-installation

No, the two 5mm bolts come off and then you remove the plastic shroud. I did mine in 15-20min I can walk you through it if you need more...
