anyone got an online service manual for the 85 vf500f?
i have seen those but have never known anyone that has actually used one. seems like a pain to get on/off though the scorpion i got was thrown...
are all those gaskets and junk avail out there to replace ... i am really thinking it is the oil filter or drain plug cause those are the only...
i really need to get me a nicer helmet ... or perhaps some earphones with noise reduction .... either way the wind sound is wayy to loud for a...

i listen to my ipod when out on open or back roads but turn it off in local traffic or high traffic areas, at speed with my cheap scorpion helmet...
it appears to be in the middle of the bike, i saw a drop on the oil drain plug but it could just be running down the engine and that being the...
the PO said it was never enough for him to have to add oil to it between changes ... but i do slightly smell it burning off when i am riding
is there a common place to look for oil leaks on an 85 ?? mine is leaking a small amount of oil, i can smell it burning off when i ride...

the PO i got my bike from just rerouted the switches to an undisclosed location with regular switches and buttons ... well the starter switches...
