Here's mine. [ATTACH]
I don't have that...my cap looks stock and the keys match the ignition, but I don't have that rubber plug that I can see in this photo of a new...
I'm looking for a vent hole but don't see one. The overflow vent for the tank is clear, but is there a vent hole for the cap itself that I don't see?
1995 VFR750F, I've had lots of old Hondas and three VFRs and I knew I was going to have to get around the "no more parts" and charging system...
I'm finally able to get the bike apart and see tonight. I'm not the best with a multimeter but I own one and The Drill is pretty clear how to check.
Perfect, I was hoping there was a "drill." My first two VFRs were 1986 700 and 750, I brought the 700 back from the dead. It melted the stator...
I got the bike home but it wasn't petty. I've had the '95 just a few weeks. Took a weekend motorcycle camping trip to the mountains of North GA,...
I've replaced the chain and sprockets on my 1986 VFR750 that has been converted to the F2 wheels front and rear. I had to leave the bike for over...
I can only agree with you. I went from a stock VFR700 just like yours, and loved the engine but not the dated suspension, to a 750 with the F2...
You most likely won't find new, but there's lots of good pieces on the forum for sale right now. Frodus has some excellent pieces for sale, well...
My VFR700 was in the same neglected state when I brought it back to life. I took lots and lots and LOTS of photos of everything I touched because...
I live in GA, and I have a nice Honda on the road legally right now that I bought with no title....all it cost extra was back-taxes to the tune of...
Don't we all? Some of our wallets dictate what level of function we get....
James you are definitely right. I didn't pick up a 1986 motorcycle without knowing it would have age-related issues. Rubber parts fail with age,...
Watching this thread, just learned a whole lot in 6 pages.... Now I'm all paranoid...I too picked up my '86 VFR700 with crash damage and very...
Ain't they cheap enough?
OK it's on the calendar. I'm not a frequent poster here (yet) but I get up to Kickstand usually twice a year or more. The only thing left to...
Ooooh, great. So...some 750 exhaust headers would fit? But not the carbs? And....how do I stop ads from coming up in my posts? And how do I...
Thanks for the good info, esp. on the RR. My '92 Honda 750 just hates automotive oil too, it will barely shift with it. Pardon my...
Thanks, (I am a she, I'm talking about hubby) I'm a bit overwhelmed that there are so few parts for this bike. The petcock is leaking and I can't...
