So I had an old thread, where the FI light would come on intermittently, beginning around 3-5k rpms, forget where. It turned out to be a ground to the right of the battery that upon freshening up, getting a better connection, tightening down, did solve.

So now, it is a new day and a new gremlin. It kicks in after warming up, oh, a good 20 minutes into riding. It will begin showing up slowing down, or will actually go to the rhythm of my turn signal. I found a thread over on vfr discussion: https://www.vfrdiscussion.com/index.php?/forums/topic/66045-urethra-i-found-it/

about the ground block. Well, he has the exact same symptoms as I. I have found other threads too, same symptoms, same solution. The only thing... the connector looks fine? *shrug* I mean I have not taken the wires individually out yet but the housing is not all burnt up like his photos. It looks clean as a whistle, taking the top cap off. I am naturally mistrusting of myself and always assume I have a 50/50 chance of making my situation worse if I go digging into things I don't know anything about so I have left it thus far. Is there elsewhere I should be looking, or should I go through with this regardless, soldering everything together and adding an extra wire to the frame from here? Thanks you!

Well, it seems I may be solving my own threads left and right. When I took a look at everything, all I did was turn the connector plate around on the ground block and then I scuffed up and cleaned again that other ground I had a problem with before. I ran it today for a half hour and no light. Was it the turned around connector plate, was it the other ground? No idea. But I got a soldering iron. If it does it again, I suppose I will solder those ground wires....

2 hour ride today, no light issues. I have a hard time believing it was the ground I had an issue with before... totally different symptoms. Could be it is getting a better connection at the block, having turned the connector pins around. Will watch and will solder if it shows up again.

Have you also verified the ground to the right side of the frame is clean and tight? Might be worth a look.
