I put mine on then used the hose clamps that came off the tubes to secure them in place. You don't have to worry about a piece of silicone caulking going into your throttle body that way too. As far as R/R goes, 13.5-14.5 Volts DC is what you are looking for. Crank it up to 5000 RPM and test again and see if it goes up. Check the connections on the right side of the frame under the fairing and inspect for damage.
