My RC36 has headlights for a right side drive country and I live in a left side drive country so they won't pass it through the test. Can anyone tell me how to make the lights shine the other way - to the left instead of to the right

Aren't there knobs to aim it on the back of the housing?

    - Correct if you want to do it right.

The bodge is to simply lower the headlight aim so it wont affect other road users. Consult bike manual for location of adjusters - measure headlight centre height (with a rider on the bike), then mark that height on a wall - move bike so its 20 feet in front of a wall lower beam aim so the bright bit is a couple of inches below the line. That should work for beam test and inspection kit but won't if they check the lens certification stamps. It will also make your headlights far less effective if you need to ride at night - hence buying a used lhd unit is probably the right answer.

Your proceedure seems to correspond to mine with one important difference: the brightest spot of light should be 2" below horizontal WITH THE HIGH BEAM, not low. After the high beam is proppaly adjusted, the low is correct too. Laws in various contries may call for certain variations.

Gen 4 bikes have a 2 identical heaDlights as far as i know, so nothing new would be required to re-aim using the adjustment knobs.
