Can someone tell me a setting for the Pilot jets for a 87 vfr700. I'm installing a set of 86 California CARBS with out the canister set up. I sealed the recovery tubes. I live at sea level. Shop man states to start with 2 1/2 turns out and adjust accordingly. I don't have the CARBS synced yet so I need to start with a pilot jet setting that should be close for starting up the bike. As we know how much fun it is to install and remove these CARBS I'm hoping with your help I won't be working on the CARBS again any time soon THANK YOU

2 1/2 will be fine for a baseline, then you need a accurate tach and do the idle drop procedure ,,thats usually pretty darn close
