Seems like the traces on the back of the cluster are fine, nothing is separated. eBay doesn't seem to have any cheap parts I can use to replace.
Sorry to bring back an old thread but this is the same problem I'm having. Took the cluster out and none of the traces on the back are corroded...

I think it may have displayed some random number before it disappears. Most likely the wiring
