Hmm, this is a head scratcher. You are about 20 ponies shy of where a stock '86 should be - at least from what I've read.

When he said that, I thought the same thing. Not just 20 ponies but percentage wise, that's like 40% of what it should have had. Probably had a carb issue before he started (i.e. improper jetting etc..)

Provided it passes a compression test, with those new carbs and the exhaust, it will feel like twice the bike you had before

    Nice!

Did you have the Fork Tubes painted before you brought them to Jamie for the rebuild....they look new.

Since you said you aren't using them anyway; maybe I can borrow them and test them out for you this weekend?

I was hopeing my fork seals would come in today but no call from Honda parts...
    Hopefully tomorrow or I'm S.O.L.

Planning on going here on Friday, checkout them curves:

I also grabbed a spare set knowing I was going to get some fork work done.

I've been thinking about sending them to Jamie to get him to work on them (Not as crazy as he did on yours)

I've been debating whether I should have them painted before or after the work....but powdercoating...that's always good too.

I'm pretty sure you need to do it this way because of the oven bake. Wouldn't the seals be damaged otherwise?

The springs were made to my custom specifications by Sonic. Great guys over there. The need for custom springs was one of the hurdles that I wasn't expecting with this project, but in the end it was all worth it!

I was looking for an F2 Front for my bike but everyone around here wants around $200 for them. :frown:

What's the other wheel option for front wheel conversion?
