Did ya get some comparison pics from CAPTIAN 80s on Changing your bars without the spacers? Very interested to see the difference. I have used, Helibars & Spacers. Helibars best but other Honda models may best way to go. And junkyard cheaper+++ Greally appreciated if you have the pics to send… Please send to my email, motorenzo@gmail.com
Howdy, I saw an older post of yours that you were going to replace the stock grips with a set of Oxfords and integrate into the built in grip controller. Did you mange to get this working?
Hey can you tell me more about painting your wheels? You say you powder coated them. Did you pay someone to do it? What is the significance of powder coating as opposed to just using aerosol or regular paint? I'm about to repaint my bike and I'm thinking about doing the wheels too.
Hey Michael, hopefully I have the right Michael. I spoke with Reg about renewing my membership and getting your name and address to sent a check. I have no problem sending 4 years worth of dues and would be delighted to take care of this matter. Let me know what you think. Ken
Hi Reg. We spoke a couple of months ago about means of payment for membership renewal. I never got a message back from Dave (I believe it was Dave). Anyway, if he is willing I have no issue with sending him a check for 4 years membership fees ($100 American). All I need is a name and address to send it to and I'll take it from there. Thanks, man.
Sold my last VFR in 2014. Looking for a replacement. Moved to TN from CT a year ago. Excited about new places to ride
Hi squirrelman, can you recommend anyone in the UK that can carry out carb repairs on a gen 4 to your standard? :)
Hey squirrelman! I saw in an earlier post that you were going to model those side panels for a 1986 VFR750F. Did you ever do that? I am looking for those panels now. Thank you!
Hi I sold my VFR and I would like to close my account...Can't find anywhere to do that. Can you please point me in the right direction. Thank You...Ian
Hey I came across a thread where you had posted on fitting a Oberon 36mm slave cylinder on a 6th gen VFR. I might sell my 2008 VFR800 6th Gen because the clutch is super heavy and clutch zone is at the very end of the lever. Can you provide your thoughts below options: 1) Replace existing w/ 5th gen slave clutch cylinder 2) Replace existing w/ Oberon CLU-3036 3) Replace existing w/ Oberon CLU-3038 --> too much?
I’m looking for oem hard bags for my 08’ VFR800. I’m located in Alberta Canada. Let me know if anyone has some. Thanks
