It was love at first sight 15 Years ago, and I finally have her!

I flew one way from Dallas to Cleveland in my riding gear and rode this gorgeous blonde 1200 Miles home. I have never ridden a 5th Gen, but I knew it would be a perfect fit. This was the finest Y2K Yellow available in the US at the time (Cycle Trader) and I am stoked no one scooped her up before me.

    Hello, VFR World!

Nice bike, that took some faith to ride 1200 miles on a strange bike. Did you have it checked out first?

Thanks! I am lucky enough to be the Internet Sales Manager at DFW Honda here in Grapevine, TX. Since I sell bikes online, I did my due diligence. The previous owner was great. He sent me two GoPro videos and we had a mountain of email correspondence. I felt confident enough she was the one, I went through with the purchase and couldn't be happier. Thanks again for the warm welcome :)

I am the 4th owner. Previous owners added Race Tech front end, Galfer Rotors (not necessary IMHO), replaced rectifier and added cooling fan for said rectifier. Purchased last month with 30,019 Miles on the clock (under average)

I dig the fact, they left everything else stock. Very rare to invest money where it counts. She runs like a demon with the stock pipe, and I like hearing only the sweet gear whine. She also came with owner's manual, rear cowl and original tool kit. The tool kit clowns anything a new Honda comes with today!!

The fit and finish of this bike is unsurpassed (like all VFRs). Could be Honda's finest production. Our MotoGP bike is a V-4

Congrats on purchasing not only the best generation of VFR, but also in the fastest color. Well done.

Nice score, yea those yellow ones are special. Only thing now, once I found they have a converter and some emission stuff, I kinda steered clear, but they are still very sweet. on a personal note I still like the look of them over the red ones just because they are not as popular, but red is cool too. ;) ssh, it's a tad faster. That being said I have crossed over from 4th to 5th. Good to see you here you'll like the place once you get warmed up to it's kinks ....I hope.

Thank you sir. I wasn't going to get one unless it was the Yellow. I've only seen one other on the road and it was on Palomar Mtn in San Diego County around '02. I just stared at it while he gave me the walkaround. He was giddy and I know now how he feels.

I always liked the yellow ones until I finally bought one. The truth is , I did not like It at all. I loved it! I am still "making it mine"" but it's making me smile in the curves. It fits nicely between my 1993, a white 750 and my 2007 RWB 800 in the garage.

    Congrats on your good taste.
