If you want to be different, why not a bright orange & black. Don't think I've ever seen an orange one before, it would be unique; there are already a bunch of yellow ones.

I've had yellow sports cars & red sports cars so I love both colors.

My initial reaction th=o the orange is that it looks really cool. reminds me of a 900rr. I wonder if you'd get tired of it, though? kinda like kawi green. it seems like it's cool for a little while, then it just seems loud...

Yellow or red; that's a tough call as I like both colors alot. I've seen yellow 4g's before and they are sweet-looking. Couldn't say which I would prefer more. I also like the white on white.

Hey SLOVFR, what screws/bolts are you using to hold on the seat cowl?

My bike was red until I had it painted black a couple of months ago.I have got more compliments now than I ever did when it was red.But if I had to pick between red or yellow I would pick red.

Like a lot of people here I have had a few bikes. Since getting my Yellow VFR (first Yellow bike I have ever owned), I have noticed that a majority of motorist notice my Yellow bike more readily than my Red Suzuki Intruder. The VFR would look good in any color, and I have more of a preference for White and Red, but Yellow is a nice and safe color for a bike. Just my two cents.

Hey SLOVFR! Looks cool in orange, but you have bar none the best looking:yo: VFR year/color combo IMO, even better than 86' RWB, keep it RED!!!
Don't forget 1/2 of the people will immediately say "crashed" with any paint change.:blah:Not that it really matters.... That White is clean looking...

Yea I'm thinking white too, thou I like the yellow, NOT orange please, that's so Kawasaki LOL, I like the yellow, thing for me is I wouldn't want folks to think it's a 2000 so I'm back to white.

Question, since asked, I want to make sure I read that right? rear cowl Mounting screws? are the same as what fastens the side fairings add lower faring? the ones that are hex head that have a shoulder to them? reason I ask, at first glance to me is they look to be to big to fit in the cavity where the orginal screws that hold the cowl in place goes, Hmm I need to check that..

Yes they are the same shouldered ones used throughout the rest of the body work. The ones that take an allen wrench. And they fit in there fine. Not too big. I know, i put them there..... (used to be my bike)

Only problem is if you need to take the cowl off...you need to keep that allen with you...I still need to remember to put one in my tank bag.
