WTFunction

So I Haven't followed road racing for a while.., on the bikes, what is the think growing out of the right bar end? Is it s safety device for the break lever? Tuning? something for the throttle...? And before you ridicule me for being stupid remember, everyone was a bomb-f*#k once! lol i'm just reliving my youth!

 

Maybe you could post a pic of what you're refering to?

Probably to keep others from hitting and activating the brake lever. Racing is a LOT closer! Even club racers run them.

I can't see the image you're trying to post, but I'd be based on your description it's a brake lever guard. Yes, safety device.
