WTB Heli Bars

Can't take it any longer. Must have Heli Bars. Would make my ride perfect.
But I don't want to spend the $279.00. Anyone have a better line.

 

I hope you find em. I just purchased mine from Sport Tour Ltd. for $279. Have yet to install them yet. Free shipping from this company and excellent customer service. I was looking for cheaper but finally bit the bullet bought the Helis along with a Sergeant seat, Givi V35's and a Double Bubble shield. Talk about cash layout!!

 

I paid $269 (w/free shipping) from sporttour.com. I searched and searched, that was the best deal I could locate. If I were more patient I would have waited for a group buy opportunity (check pashnit.com, they have one about once a year) since I've seen them go for as low as $220 on those.

I would have been interested if I hadn't already ordered, and got my Helibars today. Story of my life: a day late and a dollar short. Also paid $269 including shipping.

Sorry I got my last week as well, I will talk to my friend at the stealership to see if he can give us some discount. I alway get 15% off what ever I buy thru him. Will keep you all posted.:thumbsup:

 

I would definitely be interested in getting in on a group buy if someone can put it together.

 

I'm interested in a group buy. I'm definately getting them, but I'm not in a hurry to spend more than I have to.(and the bike is not that uncomfortable stock) I'm deployed right now anyway and have a little while before I can ride again.

OK, so far I count 4 that are in the market for Heli bars:
PJVTEC, Mr Den, Myself, and Moco
Does anyone know who we would talk to about purchasing them?

 

There was a group buy at VFRD last fall and they went through a place in Green Bay WI called Naef Cycle (NAEF Cycle - Home) or naefcycle@aol.com. The folks that run the place were top notch (Melanie and Ken Naef 920-434-8189). I believe they got them for $215 with free shipping. I missed out on the group buy and ordered from them individually...ordered on Mon, shipped Tues, got then on Thurs. I mentioned that I had missed the group buy (called them the week after the group buy) and they sold me a set for $250 with free shipping, so even if you don't get all 10 to join, you may save some money with less than 10. Regardless, they were great to work with...the first "dealer" flaked out on the group buy and Heli-Bars recommended contacting Naef Cycle. here's the VFRD thread: Helibars Group Buy Round 2 - VFRD

FYI..on the past group buy with Naef Cycle, they said group buy people could order either 5th or 6th gen models.

 

Between VFRWorld and VFRD, I think we're up to 11. Including the 3 for 5th Gen Viffers. I sent an email to Naef Cycle on Fri Morning, but haven't recieved a reply. I'm hoping they reply soon. I'll keep you all posted.

 

Heli Bars Group Buy Round 3

Great news!!! Naef Cycle has agreed to the group buy. I'm pretty sure we have the numbers to do this(11 as of right now) However, just to be sure, If you agree to their terms below please respond here.

This is for Gen5 or Gen6 Heli bars. Pricing for this group buy would be $229/each which includes USPS Priority Mail shipping within the States. If shipped to Canada add $15. If shipped internationally add $25. Shipping insurance is optional for an additional $5.
Payments will have to be made using Paypal and payments would have to be recieved on or before Mar 31.

Once we have the minimum numbers, I'll get the details on how this will go from Naef Cycle.
