Wow! what a shock, way cool. Now I know what I'll be bragin about. Those guys know how to build a shock. Way Nice build, top notch quality all the way around, way worth the wait. Okay now on to the photos

    Xmas came early Nice...

Next, going to attack mode for the install, but still love looking at this.

Ooee, some where down there is a top mount to undo, mmm this should be fun??

With the tire and Stain tune out of the way, you can see it's a cozy fit huh? So Far so good no broken fingers.

Well after a few fine words, it's getting closer to getting the old shock out.

Wow. what a difference huh, Hey that wasn't so bad.. after I figured out how Honda put this beast together.

Now for the fun part, putting it back together.

But not till I clean all the nuks and crannies

Getting close, and to my surprise everything is going pretty well

Now that, that is done, time to install that beauty.

Almost there, looking pretty sweet and what's interesting turns out not to be as bad as a job as I first thought.

Bingo! all done, other than the fine tuning of mounting the remote reservoir everything went fine still might have to relocate the reservoir but won't know till I get a few miles on her. Now for the fine tunning on Friday, but for now I can all ready tell it's a huge improvement. Thanks WP for still making this shock every bit as good as the Ohlins as a little research shows there's a lot of folks using these, just not as popular state side. Mad props to Le Engineering for putting up with me in getting this too.

Looks like it went well when I read this "Getting close, and to my surprize everything is going pretty well" I thought there would be some unforeseen problem coming up, but no! Let us know how you like the new change.

Will do guys, Have an appointment friday to fine tune the set-up. Pretty excited to feel the good out of all this, only thing I'm bugged about is the location of the remote Reservoir. I'm thinking it's a tad to close in the way of the tire, if I were to either ride 2 up or get into a ruff road contition it might just touch, as it was I sat and bounced on it and it seemed to be okay. I'll know more later, as I will no doubt make up a new bracket to slove this. just has me bugged. other wise all is great!

Actually been thinking about that, don't care for my chain guard as it's been getting warped out doesn't hold its shape. I have seen somewhere where they put the hugger with the chain guard as one unit, hmm carbon fibre would be a nice way to go. Thanks for that idea.. makes me think I'm on the right track.

Ok, I couldn't stand it any longer so went out and bought some hard rubber stock and made a new custom mounting bracket, Wa-la, fits way better than I thought, plus looks good, easy to get to, yet out of the way.

They actually list one for the 750, and although the have a thumbnail of it on the main Honda page, they didn't have a bigger pic, so I used the one from the 800. Which did have a bigger pic, and hopefully everyone could tell it was availible as all one unit -- although they also sell each piece individually if you wanted too. Thurn also sells one, but I didn't like it in the pics as much. I just this week order this one, but it will be a couple of weeks before I receive it.
