To cold and I'm too lazy to get in the shop today, but I did mess around with this idea. Does a Gen3 look stuipid in a Red-White-Blue paint?

Actually, I think it would look pretty cool. I have always liked the RWB scheme, though... Look at some of the old ones, too and flip the colors around and see which one you like the best...

Want it to look modern but have a classic VFR look to it. I'm still a while off from paint, but still messing with ideas. was thinking about matching the blue of the non US gen 5's

I think that any Gen of Interceptor would look great in RWB. It's the universal color scheme for this bike. Let us know if you decide to move forward.

The boss has decided VFR will roll out for the 2010 season in RWB. It's gonna be a while before I get it in the booth but we did hit e-bay for a couple decals. Cracked open the paypal so now I'm commited! I allways wanted to do it anyway.

As has been said, any VF or VFR will look good in RWB. I like your outline a lot. I'd say go for it!

I did look at the RC30, Bweiss. Wife thought just too much red. Might be that all her gear is white and blue. I looked at several RWB paint jobs and came up with that one. Simular but slightly differnt from ones on other models. I don't want to copy as much as some thing that fit on her Gen3 with the R6 race tail. Like I said, I'm weeks off on starting, just putting the ducks in a row and making a plan of attack on the job.

Not a big fan of the RWB but if you must , go with the claissic colors and design.
