Ok ladies. I am iphoning this in while waiting for a plane back home after an epic weekend of race watching and partying. Norcal Drewl and I had an absolutely monster good time. These guys need to be in your tribe. Norcalboy and his sister and BIL were gracious hosts and I am grateful. I have made some great new friends. I am sure that the Drewl will soon post the appropriate pics. Whew once my brain, ears , and liver recover it will be time to start on planning the next one.

Thurs AM I took my tikitz and loaded the bike.


and headed out hwy 36 to all parts west and south

And arrived at Laguna just before 6pm.

toured the park for a bit on a slow Thurs night just to get my bearings and make it real.
Then Friday am I hooked up with Bear and NCB.
Saw some old school

and some new school

and some WTF?

But it looks like NCB likes it...

Of course the was racing!

Turn 5 was the crashing turn. Lots of bikes crashed there, and so did all of us(thanks to NCBs sis and bro-in-law)
we saw some very expensive ass

and some not so expensive...

and more WTF?

After a very fun, then very rough Saturday night, there was more racing!

Then Pedrosa won!

Hopefully we have started a tradition. My sister said that due to my excessively loud laughing and my penchant for playing the music way too loud, that I better be on improved late night behavior next year. :biggrin: I told her that, quite honestly, I couldn't promise anything. She said you guys were welcome, but that I was on probation ........

I'm thinking Monterey Bay Lodge for next year...a couple connected suites would be great......no midnight curfew ruining my buzz.....

 

Don't be hatin' because I won my third championship, wearing a t-shirt, ball cap, shorts, sunglasses and tennis shoes....while riding backwards on the bike...I know it was tough on my competition, but a smack down is a smack down. I would like to Thank: Arlen Ness Custom Gloves, Etnies Tennis Shoes, Fox Racing Shorts, Sato Racing Ball Caps, Abercrombie and Fitch, Dolce and Gabbana Sunglasses and Hugo Boss for their support all season.
