I saw a post of a VFR get together beginning of June at deals gap. I am not sure that I am going, but was wondering if anyone would be interested in going down there? I am trying to find out now so people can get the time off of work. Not looking for a positive yes commitment at present. But if there is a chance that you would like to go post up now! If it is going to happen details will follow. I am thinking of heading out on June 1st and get back on Sunday the 6th. Could also just go down on are own at some other time. I am up in the air on the planning. (Just some thoughts) About an 1500 miles round trip (12 hr. one way) Plus if you have any suggestion or stipulation that you may need let me know. May be drive bikes down. I am leaning on trailering bike down with my suburban or the 29’ motor home that sleeps 8.
hey i might be moving to Monroe NY.. if so i would be ok with trailering down.. although you would think i would hit deals gap.. while i lived in dc not that far away.
I'm wanting to attend the VFR gathering as well. Right now job and living situations are up in the air so I can't commit to it yet. I'm determined to make it there sometime this year, just don't know when I'm going to be able to do it.
