I dont remember my bike doing this before, but after winter and riding around town, I notice my RPM is is higher when sitting at a stop with the bike in gear vs. the clutch in sitting in neutral.

Does anyone else's bike do this? Something to worry about?

    2002 VFR
1st gear, clutch in: RPM ~1800-2000 RPM
Neutral, clutch in: RPM 1500 RPM

I know my idle is a little high and can be adjusted, I've just always left it at 1500 RPM in neutral.

Funny that you posted this. I just took mine out from hibernation & noticed that my idle was a tad higher than it was before (It was normal). I did put fuel stabilizer for storage & I thought it's because of that. But no to what you're experiencing. No change in RPM with clutch in or gear in. I haven't fuel up with fresh gas yet because I want to empty my tank with old fuel as much as possible before filling up again. And It's easier to change an air filetr on an empty tank...
