Hey guys. So my new VFR, while lovely, needs to be "de-blinged" a bit. The former owner, who only put 7200 miles in 10 years, prefered to stick tacky crap on this bike rather than actual ride it! My personal favs are the matching chrome reseviour covers and transparent handle grips that say "VFR" on them in a sporty, italicized font. Sigh. Fortunately he gave me all the OEM parts he took off...

Anyhoo, the bike has a Zero Gravity Double Bubble screen on it. Which is neat. It seems to work quite well at deflecting wind. The problem... it's RED. RED. It just bugs me. Windshields shouldn't be frickin' red. That and it's virtually useless in low-light situations. (not that I'd be hugging the tank at night...)

So I'm looking at replacing this ugly thing... I could put the clear stocker back on, or buy a clear ZG Double Bubble, but I'm also looking at the Zero Gravity "Sport Touring" model. Any of you G4-ers have any experience with that one? Any other windscreens that you really like for sport touring?

    Thanks!

    Rob

As it just so happens I've tried a couple different models and ended up back to the stock one due to where the wind cut off for me is. I find with the stock screen I have little to no head buffeting also less noise where in the other ones it brought it up into the helmet area which turned out not being so great. mind I'm only 6'1" so ?? depending on you will determine what will work. also FWIF the factory ones are way stronger. Red you say? LOL, a post like this needs photos.. If you look in my photos, You'll see a titanium coated screen, I've been trying to find one for some time, they have that NR750 look

Id consider taking the red 'screen off your hands if you are interested.

I like the double bubble one I put on mine. The stock one was too much wind on my chest.
