Would anyone know of a source of windscreens for my '84 VF500? The original has a few scuffs on it and I would kind of like to find something with a lip to turn the air a bit higher. I have been scouring the internet in search of SOMETHING but not too much luck. Also .....this is one I found listed but the info is conflicting "tall" and "stock replacement" ....which is it? Source of Windshields for VF500 Hi there, I have an 88 VFR400 that I have a hard time finding parts for as well. So I'll ask the following. Have you tried your local Honda dealer - or do they want an arm and a leg for the part and you're trying to locate an aftermarket unit? There are a couple of sites I use - RonAyers.com sometimes has it or otherwise there's a Dutch Site - CMSNL.com that will almost certainly carry it. Both of these can be expensive but the parts are usually OEM.
We just put on a Zero Gravity on our '01 VFR, the touring model a bit taller with a small flip. It makes a bit of difference on deflecting the wind, nice smoke color and actuall looks better than stock in spite of being a bit taller. Price was about $100. Look on the net, lots of suppliers.
