I have a new Zero Gravity double bubble due in tomorrow for my 02. When I look at the stock windscreen I only see two mounting screws is this all there is to removing the stock screen? Thanks

not sure on the 02, but I bet not. On my 98 you have to take off the mirrors and there is a screw under the mounting plate...

For a Vtec you take off the 2 plastic inserts which have 2 phillips head screws going through the windshield, then, under those covers there are 2 more screws holding it on. Then it just slides back and up and comes off.
The Zero gravity DB just uses 2 of the mounting screws, if I remember correctly.

    BENNSDB,

Please tell us how tall you are and what you notice when using the DBubble vs. your stocker once you get it installed.

    Thanks!

I put a zero gravity db on a couple of weeks ago on my 04 vfr:smile: It does only use 2 of the 4 screws to attatch and is about half as thick as the stock one. I'm 6'1" and i've only noticed a small amount of difference from the stock one.

I'm 6'0" and I get less buffeting. The buffeting went down by about 60%. I'm considering getting the touring version from ZG or Givi for long trips, but I don't like the looks of the flip up so I'll keep my current ZG for around town.

There was a _minor_ decrease in wind noise. That's still one of my peeves. I think a new helmet will do the trick though. I've heard the stepping up from a $125 to $500 helmet makes a difference. I'm eyeing Shoie.

And yeah, Paul04vfr has the install instructions exactly. Don't forget to grease the flux capacitor though.
