will a magna motor fit an intercepter?

    i have a 84 honda intercepter vf500f can i put a 86 vf500 magna engine in it ?is it a direct swap?

    Not sure if it's direct fit, but I believe they are the same engine. The baby Magnas are chain drive and fire in the same order as the Interceptor, unlike the bigger Maggies which are shaft driven and contra-rotate.
