Howdy, Does anybody know of a source for extra wide street boots? I'm looking for 9.5, 6E. Help? Thanks Mac
Oxtar are wicked wide man. I have a really narrow foot and had to go with Sidi, and are still quite tight. I tried on an Oxtar and my foot was swimming inside. Just do some hunting online. There are a bunch of companies making race boots and even custom orders.
I looked for thier boots and they do not say "wide" sizes. Where did you find them that came in Wide? Oxtar?
I have a 4E foot and found the Alpinestar SMX4 is actually made for a wider foot. It actually says so, but this is the only one in their line that does. It is plenty wide enough for my Fred Flinstone feet. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the help, boys. Daddy told us that we have these feet, because 200 generations of our ancestors spent their lives lookin' at the hind end of a mule. I passed that one on to my young'uns too. Mac
Thought it might be easier to bump this thread than start a new one. Mac, did you ever try the Oxtars, or find something that worked? I tried some Alpinestars on yesterday, in the equivalent of a size 10 (44?), which is almost a size too big, and even with thin socks they were WAY too narrow.
Yes, tried the Oxtars. Too narrow. I have given up for the time being. The next route I plan to explore is having some made, but that is "cost prohibitive" at this time. Good luck with your searches. Mac
Well, I finally found my boots. In August, I bought a pair of boots from Helimot European Accessories: Gloves, Daytona Boots, Custom Suits, Leathers They are Daytona Road Star GTX boots. They have the width and depth I need. Safe, and happy, at last! Mac
I glanced very quickly, without my glasses at this thread title and guess what.. WIDE BOOBS! Naturally I had to look.
