....today for a ride? I did I did. Whoopie!! Even though it was only like 40 miles +, sure felt great, Helped that the weather held out big time, 49 and no rain for the time being. It has been a while since I was able to let it rip, what a sweet sound from 3-8k rpms pulling through the gears and... oh my, does it like to run. :) I didn't have time for stops for photos, so this one here topping it off with fresh to go juice will have to do.

Nice!! I went out to rent a movie. 20 miles later i decided to actually find a redbox that had my movie.

Met another rider that was on his way to trade in his ride for a VFR800. Would have followed him but had to get home to the dog. On a side note i recommend "The Accountant". Best movie i've seen this year. First movie in YEARS i thought the ending was cool!

    *edit...and i rode this morning to work:crazy:

I went out for a quick blast. Did about 80 miles, highway, canyon, freeway and roads. California is actually really beautiful right now because of all the rain we've been having. Everything is the greenest I've seen in many many years. There's a section of highway near me that has hills that always reminds me of southern Spain. Now that it's all green, it's like I'm transported there every time I go down that road. I will be getting pictures of it soon. Simply breathtaking. The heartbreaking part of it all is that I know it's temporary, as soon as the rain stops, so does the beauty.

Got out on a beautiful afternoon 2 days after massive rain. Few mud slides on favorite roads, roads still wet and weeping through cracks. Girl Scouts out in full force at Peets Coffee, box of Mint cookies fits nicely under rear cowel.
