I just changed the oil in my 2002 VFR800 (Rotella 15W-40 conv and a FRAM filter) and rode about 16 km to get everything warmed up and moving. Cold day here in Kamloops (6 degrees Celcius). When I went to check the oil level there's a white milky substance on the oil check window (yes, INSIDE!) I've let the bike sit for a few hours and the oil level is visible, but the white film is still there. Looks like a paint blotch on the window? Any idea what it is? Should I be worried? Thanks,

Ride it for more than a half hour, you are getting too much water buildup in your oil.
Cut down on the short trips until the outdoor temperature warms up.

Me too, condensation, it disappears after a good run. I tuck my bike in in the winter with moving blankets to reduce the temp changes a bit more in turn reduces condensation...theoretically.
