I have some credit card points I can exchange for one of two GPS units, does anyone have experience with either one or have any input. The TomTom has the 4.3" screen and the Magellan only has a 3.5" screen, but is weatherproof.

    1) TomTom One XL 4.3" screen
    2) Magellan 2200T waterproof case

Any and all input welcomed, not sure which way to go, I just don't know much about them or the brands.

I have a couple of TomTom Ones which I bought my older boys for Christmas. They work very well and are very nice units. However, I have a Garmin Zumo 550 for my bike. The reason why I went that the Zumo is it is waterproof. Best that I can tell the TomTom One is not. However, you can buy a few TomTom Ones for the price of a Zumo 550. I managed to get my Zumo for around $450 but I had a connection with a distributor and got a one off price. The Zumo also has a bunch of other features like Bluetooth and even XM radio if you buy an antenna, but I haven't used them yet. Not sure if I ever will. So other than the water resistance, I would say TomTom One is a great buy, just do your best to stay out of the rain.

Zumo comes with car and bike mount. dump cash to the upgrade IMHO. but it really depends what you plan to do with the item. If it goes on your bike I'd want a weatherproof one for the inevitable rainstorm...

Just got my Zumo 550. It overshadows my dad's tom tom1 like shaquile o'neal over tom cruise. plus the tom tom doesn't seem to have the best maps. Oh and I never forget the route it planned that took me next to all the crack houses in Sacramento....
