    Hey all

Picking my new-to-me silver 2003 VFR this afternoon, but there isn't a chain adjuster/tank holder tool with it. It's being sold on consignment at a dealership and they're going to ask the prior owner, but I'm skeptical he has it.

From what I've seen online (or haven't seen, rather) I'm fearing that I'll have to order it from Honda directly.

Much to my absolute shock, it isn't an absurdly priced part!

Ohio, Florida, Honda, Parts, Accessories, dealer, Honda Direct LIne

My question though, does anyone know of any other source for this part? HDL parts seems to be hit or miss for shipping times, and I just hate waiting for stuff! (Doubt I'm alone here!)

Alternatively, is there a common sized spanner wrench available at hardware stores that will get the job done? It's hard to try and match one up without the correct wrench in my hand, obviously.

Not too worried about the tank lifter part, I'm more concerned with getting a tool that will let me adjust the chain.

    Thoughts/ideas? Thanks for any input!

I guess this is an even more popular bike in Europe? EVERYTHING I've found is across the ocean!

There is a complete factory tool kit for sale in the "Marketplace" on this site for $25.00. Good luck.

Thanks for the tips all.. turns out the point is moot - had a fairly significant tool pouch included in it.
