I have searched all over my 05 VFR, but I can't find the helmet lock and I don't have an owner's manual. Does anyone know where I can find the lock (I know where the key goes in)?

under the seat, its a metal loop, generally painted black, the seat acts as part of the latch

Yea, and it's a pain in the ass to attach a helmet to it. At least my helmets.

you can buy a helmet extention, it slips through the ring on your strap and the other end has a d-ring to slip over the helmet lock
that said, you still can have the grab bars on if your going to use the helmet lock.

I gave up the helmet lock idea as where i use to live(reside) you could (would) come back to a helmet full of piss
