Hey guys. http://imgur.com/6C1ABnt Here is a picture of the right front side of my 1999 vfr. I took it out for the first time today after replacing the electrical gremlins. Came home and saw this. Any ideas to where this hose goes and what it does? Thanks!

Hi again - and its good to finally see a photo of at least part of your VFR!

Sadly it does not really give a wide enough view of the bike and the pipe to really try and work out what it is attached to - let alone where the other end should be connected. I suggest you post up a few more pictures, and if you are lucky someone with a 5th Gen will know what it is.

Looks like it's the hose from the evap canister.
The California model was the only VFR in the world that had the canister as far as I know, so you need to ask a local.

From the service manual, I hope this helps. Looks like the fuel tank air vent pipe, which is the small tube near the front of the tank underside..
