Where are all the super tire deals right now??

Have to buy tires for 2 bikes - wheres the dealllllzzz???!?!?! lol I actually was in dire need of a front tire for the vfr and shot for a conti-motion at the closest place to me...$170 installed.. Need 3 more now, where are the super blowout sales?

 

Motorcycle superstore will show you shops local to you that you can have tires shipped to and mounted. As for deals, it depends on the tires / brands. I have found some sites are better than otheres depending on the model and brand. So the goolge machine is your friend here.

I typically use Jake Wilson, Chaparral motorsports,Motorcycle Superstore or Sportbiketrackgear.

You being out in the middle of the ocean, I don't think the free shipping will apply.

 

Harder compounds last longer while softer compounds typically provide more grip. With that being said are you more concerned about the life of the tire or the handling? How many miles do you typically put on a set before needing replacement?

Continental Motions, they are one of the best deals in tires right now. I just bought a set of two, $173 delivered to my door. Not just affordable, but great tires. Lots of them on eBay. Mount and balance is the hard thing to find a deal on.

 

Biterpil covered them all but, Sportbiketrackgear.com is where I've bought my tires from. So far they've been the cheapest whenever I did a search for tires. Some times it's as much as $20 per tire, other times it's been $5 cheaper total. I think regardless of where you buy, you might have to add more for shipping to HI. Such is the price of living in paradise!

Well I definitely googled before coming to you all..Believe me im the google master - put an idea into my head and I will have googled it for 3 hours by the end of the afternoon lol.

Conti-motion are the cheapest Ive found as well. I may just do a matching rear conti-motion to the front one i just got at the local shop for now. Then Ill keep searching, and maybe by the time I need tires for the Hawk there will be some super special. I just cant use local people to buy tires right now cause it will not be a good deal. Like i said a front conti-motion was $119+$40+tax..I did buy a grunge brush, cleaner, and lube and it was all $200..But im seeing the same front tire online for as low as $70 or so, and in some cases i do get free shipping. Thanks for the Ideas guys.
