When replace bearings

    How often do i have to replace all the bearings of my VFRf 750 from 1990?

    I swap bearings when they develop play or get loose. Even if you could regrease and retighten to spec, the bearing may be damaged at that point.

    Check front and rear wheel for play weekly. That center stand sure is nice for these things...

    You don't want bearing failure while riding on the freeway or more so in the twisties. I know. Mine kept on running along but the side to side movement of my rear wheel just scared the shit out of me.. When the shop took the bearing out, they basically poured out in pieces on the floor. Last stated above. Check the bearings on a regular basis for fit. Bearings are not that expensive and not hard to replace. The shop did mine at the same time they rebuilt by forks, otherwise, I would have done it myself. I have done the front myself and will be doing them again soon just as a precaution.
