bike is a 91 vfr750 everytime i clutch the bike in first at low speed and rev up to about 6-7k and dump the clutch the bike starts to pick up but doesnt quite make it and it bogs down for some reason.... i pretty positive its not the clutch i think it may be a fuel delivery problem? maybe?? its just weird when i get on the bike really hard in the straights running to redline it wont bog at all??

Flick the clutch. Dont hold it. It is in the timing. The front will come up. Also sit up strait. Dont lean forward. Dont lean back either that wont work out well. Keep ypur back kinda straight.

When the wheel comes up, post back.

its dropped -1 on the front sprocket already... would go out now and try the flick but roads are wet.... also almost every time it seems i cant get no traction the rear will just spin.... but still whats the reason for the bike bogging down once the front starts to act like its gonna lift?

positive i drop the clutch and crack the throttle and it starts to want to come up and then baaaaaaahhhhh and once it settles for a second i get full response and no bogging down is it a fuel delivery issue? it kind of seems that way??

I can pull a wheelie on a 6th gen it is heavier than your bike and I am 250lbs. I run stock sprockets. Be patient if will rise up and then you will be like holy shit and ...

I don't know much about your year of bike in terms of power or anything.. but why do you have to slip the clutch to wheelie? I have a 6th gen and it will wheelie in 1st and 2nd on motor. No slip of the clutch needed. I just get mine up to about 7000 rpm's roll off the throttle a lil and crack that bitch open and up she comes. Not trying to be sarcastic.. but maybe try with out slipin the clutch.

Nope. Just a Striaght back. You dont want to be pulling back or leaning back. When the wheel does come up you will be in not so good a shape. Mostly you want rpms up flick the clutch as you are pulling the throttle and up the wheel should come. The is a video to explain What I am saying somewhere. I think mcn or something.

    Here I found it.

If you're willing to assume the risk, you're willing to assume one i refuse to.

So what, the bike stands up, big deal. But it's not worth the risk to your or others health and safety.

Sometimes wheelies are unavoidable. Like this one time when a cop turned left in front of me. I had to wheelie in order to bump-jump onto his hood, stoppie across his roof, and then ride away like nothing happened. ... BTW: which one is the sarcastic smiley?
