OK, I have a Gen 5 in Pearl Conifer Green, but with slightly tatty black wheels. I was toying with the idea of painting or powder coating, and then as someone had scraped the clutch cover, I wondered about doing the engine covers and heat shield to match. I can't decide. What does the panel think?

    Gold?

    Bronze?

    Copper?

    Silver?

I truly do not like any of the combos - lol
The silver is the best but think the heat shield needs something else

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the engine covers and heatshield, if I'm honest with you. The stock heatshield is a silver grey, but lighter than the engine covers...

This is a little more toned down...

Keep them black. Carbon heat shield.

Wheels, I vote whatever color is inside the Honda and wing on the tank.

    Covers, matte (satin) black.

Shield, carbon (real) or matte as well.

That's a very dark bronze. I'm not sure...

I like it. Pulls the colors out of the graphics nicely. Specially down in the R where it fades into that color.

But it's not my bike, just my opinion.

Of all the color options you showed, my fav. Go black then.

Or maybe the silver that is the outline of the graphics.

I really like the gold with that green.

One thing to consider. It looks much more "finished" if the wheels match the other commonly contrast-colored metal parts like levers, bolts etc.
All those are easy to find in gold but the other colours might prove difficult.

Of those choices I think the silver looks the best with the green body.

Gold won out in the end. Thanks for the input, though, folks. For now, it's only rattle can paint, but I will powder coat over the winter, I think... (I'll paint the front at the weekend, btw)
