I am needing to repaint my wheels after my wreck, I am thinking either red to match the bike or black... Anyone have any pics of a 3rd gen with red or black wheels? Or any other suggestions? Here's a pic for reference
White is a pain in the ass to keep clean, I'd imagine that red would be, too. I have seen a red bike with red centers and polished lips locally, and you might like it. Otherwise, if you use a chemical stripper to remove the paint, they can be polished easily by hand with a good metal polish. I know several people who did this on FJ1200's. Personally, I'm leaning toward a silver colour matching the frame.
