New bike to me. When I let out the clutch, it chatters or "jerks" a bit. I've never had this problem on other bikes and was wondering if anyone here might know what's causing it.? Just trying to find a place to start.

I would start by pulling it apart and inspecting the plates and fingers on the basket. Should be some visual signs of the problem.

What Toe said. I think Reggie had a good pic (of his bike) of large/deep grooves worn into the clutch basket fingers. Plates vibrate and wear enough over time that they can wear into a groove like that.
