    Considering purchasing a 2009 VFR800. Besides oil changes and chain adjustments. Are there any unusal maintenance requirements. Thanks in advance.

    nope I've ck'd the valves as req by honda 2 times now ( have 20,000 + miles ) still in spec
    just buy ride and enjoy

    The 16K service is kind of laborious (removing and replacing camshafts twice to adjust valves). Other than that, nothing unusual. Except I go through a lot of tires! ;-)
