First off, hey everyone! I started out this morning selling one of my girls..... a 2007 Yamaha FJR.

It was a tragic event as we had been together for 2 whole years and I bought her everything and more. We had been on several road trips and endured thousands of miles through every type of natural disaster imaginable!

Fast forward to this evening!

I signed up on VFRWorld a few years back when I was in the market for a sport touring type bike and ended up getting the FJR, thus ending my search. When I was looking for this special bike, I ran across a pearl white beauty and made an offer that was refused by the owner. Ever since then and even while riding the FJR, I had always remembered that pearl white bike. Today I got the kick in the a$$ I needed when my FJR sold and I decided that I was going to get the bike that slipped away. As luck would have it, I found one a few hours from my house and made the trip to check it out. What a splendid find! So I made an offer that was not refused and brought home my newest addition to the family.

Now someone hook me up with some links to touring type stuff! I'm ready to hit the road!

Looking forward to hanging out with you guys!

Welcome aboard! You'll be happy to know that you chose one of the faster colors just like my 3rd Gen. It should give you plenty of peg scraping pleasure and/or touring pleasure.

I've bought stuff from Sport Adventure Touring Motorcycle Accessories and Gear - Sport Tour Ltd., TwistedThrottle.com and Cli-MAX Riding Gear & Motorcycle Accessories Home Page | Cli-MAXRidingGear.com. All were fine to deal with although I did have a small issue with Climax, somehow the order was not placed on their end (for some Givi hardware) and I had to wait a few days longer than I was expecting, other than that all three have a little something for the Sport Tourer.

BTW, nice looking bike and kudos for posting photos!

I'm a bit spoiled as Sport Tour Ltd. is in Sharonville, OH, which is only about 25 minutes away from my house! Excellent and friendly people there and the prices are pretty fair too!

Congrats. Just load that sucker up like this:

then throw your right leg over that puppy and with a twitch of the left toe and a flick of the right wrist, you are off to the races
