:unsure:I bought an 84 VF1000F which has an aftermarket rear shock. I don't see any markings or names on it and would like to know some details about it, like how much air to put in. It is a coil over shock with the external red canister mounted along the upper right side frame rail. The canister has a small dial with numbers which is turned by hand to increase/decrease what? The coil around the shock is also red. I have been looking at pictures posted on VFRworld but haven't seen the same.

Rear Shock Absorber Pre-load. Turn Left (anticlockwise) To Smooth Shock Absorb. Turn Right (clockwise) To Hard Shock Abs.
    Really Simple.
    Lamps.
