what material is the stock exhaust made of?

    my fifth gen bike came with a V @H exhaust which is aluminum, was wondering if the stock exhaust is steel and if any one has a stock exhaust that they would be willing to part with for cheap (just need the portion that attaches to the headers, dont need the can, if anyone is willing to hack it off and just send me the lower bent portion of the exhaust)

    I know the stock headers on the 5th gen were steel, and not stainless. I have a set of them on my 6th gen. I can't say what the midpipe on back was made out of.
