Just had a quick question. I noticed that some folks have been using Synthetics and oils like Rotella from shell. I read the back of the bottle of some of that Rotella and I guess it's for diesel engines.....but can be used in motorcycles. I thought motorcycles had specific only oils. So I can pop down to my local Walmart and buy some auto mobil one synthetic????

Do a search on oils and you'll find MANY different views on the subject. I was using Mobile 1 but switched to Rotella Synthetic this time and have not noticed any difference. I personally just make sure that it does not have "energy conserving" on the rating label and meets the recommended requirement rating (SF, SG or higher JASO 4T service classification: MA).
