So my rear shock looks kinda old. Im not gonna drop a $1000 on a new shock... i just dont have it.
    but
It looks like a GSXR 1000 shock might fit?
If the stroke is the same i would give it a try.
They are lots of them under $100 on ebay.

The suggested upgrade is the 954 shock with a new spring. Jamie Daughtery is the favored source.

I also have an Ohlins unit off a Kawasaki that I took off my 3rd gen and an Ohlins spring from the VFR I could part with. It raised the bike about 1/2". Could use a rebuild with a little more damping.

Stroke, no idea, most of them a sold based on length. And mounts.
