I'm pretty sure my wife will cut off my testicles if I bring home a 3rd bike but despite this I still really want to get another. I'd really like to get either an 84 Interceptor 500 or a VF1000R. So what do you think...Keep the testicles or sacrifice them for a Classic Honda LOL?? BTW....Wife is due to give birth to our second child on April 30 and this will be our last child so in theory I don't need them anymore!!! I realize that most of what am I speaking of is pure fantasy but I've recently come across a good condition VF500 Interceptor in Candy Red similar to the pic below. This is the first bike I ever fell in love with when I was a teenage in the late 80's and I always said I would own one of them one day.

It would be interesting to see what Jamie Daugherty's opinion is. Personally, I would go for the 500, but I have always been a sucker for mid-size bikes. Luckily for me, I have never had the room or quite enough extra cash when an old Moto Guzzi V50 Monza showed up for sale.

Based on that statement alone, my opinion may have no value here.

honestly, would put my $$ behind the kids and start a jar fund (put in $10 a week and ALL of your loose change) - in 2-3 years the coast will be clear with the wife, kids and most importantly this $h1t economy... dont over commit in a bad economy, invest in permanent things - your wife, kids, house... VFx are nice, but will be around ...

I already have a jar fund but it's for Beer

Seriously though I know I could spend my money on better things but having motorcycles keeps me busy and keeps me out of trouble. My wife thought I was crazy to buy my 2nd bike but she quickly understood my passion for them when she saw me spending so much time in the garage working on them. She thought it was especially funny how I would go out to the garage to take one last look at them before going to bed LOL! I'd love to have just one more toy before I have to shell out some $$ for a super sporty mini-van LOL!!
