I currently am trying to sell my old house, which is about a 15 minute drive through town. I had to go over to it the other day to mow my yard. Not a big deal, as it is a battery powered mower. I just throw the battery in my saddle bag, and leave the mower there. Gives me a chance to cool off after. Not like it takes me long to do it. About 12 min. to mow the entire yard. And that is if I walk slow. I left early and had the wife ride over to join to head out to dinner afterward. :hungry: It's been rather windy here for the past couple of days. No big deal, just have to lean into the wind, counter-steer, whatever. Well, getting onto the interstate, the ramp was closed. No big deal, go on down to the next one. So, I passed the wife before the on ramp, and in making the nice right hander, and being the wind was coming from the low side to begin with, all of a sudden the 10# battery decided to shift on me. As I was already lower that what I should of been for that speed on that ramp, it pushed me over that much further. Luckily, I didn't go down, but I am definitely missing some of my foot peg feeler. :scared: My wife stated that she saw a nice shower of sparks and thought I was a goner, not to mention she thought it was coming off my saddlebags. It was certainly something that I was not expecting. So, I would just like to pass on, be aware of what you do decide to put into your saddle bags as it can shift and give some cause for alarm if you are not expecting it. It was not overweight, just needed something around it to stop it from shifting. And the battery isn't tall enough for the straps inside to do any good. and here is the mower, if anyone is interested. Quiet. Battery supposed to last about 45 min.NEUTON Cordless Electric Lawn Mower
