    April fools!

    Hehe. Couldn't resist.

But now that we're on the topic I recommend wd40's new motorcycle line.

Seriously though Mobil 1 with a Mobil 1 filter.

And don't forget to change the oil in the headlights and grease the muffler bearings.

you forgot to remind everyone to top off their blinker fluid! Very important, you don't wanna run out of that on a busy day!

but seriously, there's a lot of good oils out there. Shell Rotella T 15w40 is my preference.

Engine oil and filter type are entirely dependent on your choice of tire. Duuuh...

    Break in period and oil

In aircraft motors they use a certain type of oil until 100 hours of time, then they switch to another type. My question is what kind of break in period am I looking for? I've got 225 miles on the bike and only experienced the vtech once, and it was amazing, more than I thought it would be. Maybe I should have not have revved it that much, but I could not resist. Should I change to a different type of oil, and what do you guys recommend mileage wise between changes? It's been 225 miles of pure bliss. I'm looking forward to many more 1000's of miles. Thanks for your advise from a VFR newb.
