Ok it's come to me I need to find a hobby besides the VFR and company. What else do you guys do when you are down and out, under the weather etc., or it's just plain shitty out? Me, I found that an old interest is Legos for the time being.

Think you need an older VFR to work on in your downtime.

Shovelling dirt in my front yard. Guess that one does not interest you for many reasons J.

With the weather being just total shit for the next while, I suspect the bike will be parked more than ridden. So. I have several planks or red oak in the shop I can cut up into precise pieces of sawdust for my wife's kitchen floor. Haven't done that for months. Can't neglect the wife's feelings now can we?

Maybe I can start painting the inside of the house. Bought all the paint several months ago just gotta get going on it. Have to sand and prime all the walls though because they were originally painted with oil. Good thing I do like painting. That's about the only time my wife speaks to me. Rather loudly too I will say. Especially when I give her all that sanding dust to play with.

I didn't have leggo as a kid. I had several sets of "minnow bricks which were the same concept but were all red and really, all you could make with them were buildings. Spent days at a time building things with those.

Sounds like who ever sold you that paint used to work at a Harley dealership. Best bet if needed is to wash the walls especially in kitchens and baths. A small box of TSP and some water is all ya need. Wash walls from bottom to top to prevent streaking.

Best bet? Buy one of those books on painting written in Canuckustanian.

Squirrel hunt from the 2nd level sunroom with a 1200fps Gammo pellet gun w/4 power scope. Tree rats eat houses, piss off home owners, then die in my neighborhood. ; )

One guy in my hood re wired a toaster and uses it to shoot Eggos with an AK-47. I think he went through several toasters learning to handle the AK.

I would use the Mini-14 but the neighbors prolly wouldn't like the noise plus the bullet just keeps going and going. The Gammo will actually bring down a deer. I've done it....unintentially of course. It's a remarkably accurately and hard hitting weapon. Look at their website. It used to have a video of one bringing down a wild boar if it still doesn't. I believe it.

I had a gigging classic rock band for a while, as my other hobby. It was great but a lot of work keeping everyone happy, working gigs into everyone's schedule and then hauling the equipment, loading out, setting up, playing three sets and then dragging my butt home at 3AM.

Now I don't have any free time since my parents need me to help them.
