I am going to be parting with my VFR and I wanted to know what anyone out there thinks I can get for it. Here is the list of what has been added to the bike:
    Tinted DB Zero Gravity windshield
    Y2K Mirrors
RaceTech fork springs and gold valves
    CF triple tree protector
All decals removed except Honda wings on gas tank
    removed rear fender
Aluminum chain guard with VFR logo cut in it
    K&N air filter
    Power Commander
Two Bros hi mount Ti can
    LP tank Bra
New front sprocket minus a tooth
    New rear sprocket stock gearing
Speedo Healer to correct speedometer from gear change
LED rear turn signal running lights (red)
    Custom frame sliders (GSG Moko)
just had full service (valve adj., all fluids replaced
Dunlop D208's with some life in them
I think thats all. And I still have all the stock components taken off to go with the bike. I am thinking somewhere between $5000 and $5500. Let me know what you all think. Thanks Tom

It depends on the area your in. I am in the South and tried to sell my 98 a few months ago priced at 5,000 and got no response at all. They are selling around here in the 4 range but this is big Harley country. Lots of add on's can actually have a negative effect on the selling price. Buyers tend to think it's been ridden hard if it has been modified. Anyway good luck with the sell.

Here in Northern California your bike would sell for about $4,000 - 4500.

I just bought my 98 about 3 months ago here in the middle of Nebraska. I paid $5200. He had an extra pipe (2 brothers) the tires needed to be replaced, but it had slightly less than 5900 miles on it. All his riding was mostly highway and commuting. A 40+ year old rider, single owner, no scratches, no dings, no dents, no problems at all. It was the most emaculate used bike I've ever seen. And the cheapest Viffer in the area. Almost couldn't find one except brand new, everybody around here wants inline 4 or a harley, not a V4 with the torque of a harley and the top end horse of an import.... Dummies!!! Good Luck man.
